Hoya rangsan, also known as Hoya sp. Rangsan, is a beautiful and unique epiphytic plant known for its striking foliage and charming flowers. Here are some key details about this plant:

Description
Appearance: Hoya rangsan has narrow, ovate, waxy green leaves with greenish-yellow splotches. The leaves are lush and fade to pale yellow as the plant matures. The plant produces star-shaped flowers in pale yellow with a pink undertone. It is an epiphytic plant, meaning it grows on other plants or structures without harming them. It thrives in the cracks and crevices of rocks and trees in its native habitat. Hoya rangsan is native to Southeast Asia and Australia. It is believed to originate from Rangsang, Indonesia. It thrives in humid, tropical environments and is often found growing on tree trunks and branches in shaded areas.

Care and Cultivation
Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can be too intense, especially in the afternoon. A couple of hours of mild morning or evening sunlight can enhance foliage color and flower production. Water once every week during spring and summer, allowing the topsoil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Requires a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of garden soil, perlite, and coarse coconut coir. Prefers high humidity, reflecting its rainforest origins. Misting with rainwater is recommended for foliar feeding. Thrives in warm temperatures between 60-85°F (16-29°C). Keep it indoors or in a plant house during colder months. Can be propagated through stem cuttings or seeds. Stem cuttings should be planted in a well-draining growing medium and kept in bright, indirect light

Fun Fact
Blooming: Hoyas can take several years to bloom, and they often produce flowers on the same spurs year after year. The flowers are nocturnal, opening at night and releasing a sweet fragrance. Hoyas are relatively low-maintenance and make excellent houseplants for those who enjoy fragrant, beautiful blooms.

You will receive a plant that is very similar to the plants pictured. Ships in a 3" pot. We put great care into packaging our plants but due to the nature of the items shipped, it is possible for leaves or stems to bend or break in transit. Broken stems can be replanted after the open wound heals/dries to make two plants. Hoyas are very good at that! However, If your plant arrives rotting or dead, I will replace it for you. Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery of your plants. It is my duty to get you a live healthy plant- a few broken leaves not counting as this is normal. After 24 hours, my job is done and it is up to you (The buyer) to know how to keep it alive. We take great care in packaging our plants and problems have always been VERY rare.
