Growing Instructions:

Thrives in light shade to partial sun. Avoid exposing it to intense, direct sunlight for extended periods as it may cause stress or scorching. During its growing season (spring to early fall), water it moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering in the winter, keeping it almost completely dry to prevent rot. Use gritty, well-draining soil, such as a mix of cactus potting soil and sand or perlite. This helps mimic its natural habitat and prevents water retention around the roots. Ideal hardiness zones are USDA 9b to 10b, meaning it can tolerate temperatures down to 25°F (-3°C). Protect it from frost by bringing it indoors during colder months if necessary. If growing it in a pot, make sure it has drainage holes to avoid waterlogging. A shallow, wide container works best to accommodate its clumping growth habit. During the growing season, you can fertilize with a diluted cactus or succulent fertilizer once a month. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can harm the plant.
